TODAY’S DEVOTION. HIGH PRAISE IS DEEPER WORSHIP PART 2.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE.”Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand”. (Psalm 149:6 KJV)
When you are giving God high praise and deeper worship you do not care about the harmony of the instruments, you just go on and make a joyful noise. With high praise and deep worship you do not see the environment or circumstances but the throne of the most high God.
Deeper worship is an attitude of saying, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” (Psalm 121:1 KJV). When you lift your eyes up to where your help comes, it means you are in the presence of God and you are worshiping God without being mindful of your situation. To be a “deeper worshipper” you must see beyond your prevailing circumstances into the promises of God and be able to see the word of God as bigger and more valuable than the things around you.
Deeper worship will lift you from the dung hill into the high places in God. For you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and a peculiar people. When you begin to give Him high praises and deeper worship He will begin to take you to deeper places of victory and dominion in life. The higher you lift Him, the higher you will be lifted and divinely empowered! He said if I be lifted up, I will draw men unto myself.
Start your journey to the highest place in God by lifting Him up in praises and deeper worship.
