TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”(2 Chronicles 20:20 KJV)

You must believe in God, the maker of heaven and earth. The Alpha and Omega, the self existing and all knowing God. Failure to do this will lead to crisis while obedience to this instruction will cause you to be established. The second commandment is to believe in the spoken word of God’s “oracle carriers”(His prophets) !

Prophet in this context is your man of God! It is not the word of prophecy that carries the power of manifestation but your capacity to believe the words spoken by the mouth of the prophet in line with God’s word irrespective of your reservations or personal classifications of the person. If you despise, doubt or have reservations about your man of God, you cannot prosper. That scripture said “believe his prophets,so shall you prosper”

The voice of a servant of God favouring your path is important for your prosperity. Some believers go to church only to hear God’s word and to fulfill all righteousness because they do not want to be accused of forsaking the assembly of believers. They do not see the servant of God as a voice that is important for their lifting. No wonder the Bible says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge! The essence of our devotion is to open the eyes of your understanding to the truth of God’s word. Ensure you believe His prophets in order for your prosperity to be assured. You must prosper!

“And the elders of the Jews built and prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah son of Iddo. They finished their building as commanded by the God of Israel and by decree of Cyrus and Darius and Artaxerxes king of Persia.”(Ezra 6:14 AMP)
The kings decree gave them the mandate and the prophesying of the prophets gave them strength and speed for accomplishment.

Dear Lord I am sorry for disbelieving or despising the word of your prophet in the past. Henceforth, I will believe your prophet to ensure my prosperity in Jesus Name. Amen.
