TODAY’S DEVOTION: PROSPERITY FACTORS.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people”. (Acts 6:8 KJV)
There are factors that make prosperity a reality in the life of every believer. First among them is the faith factor. Every believer who exhibits faith will always be a person of power! In the passage above the Bible says Stephen was full of faith and power! Faith and power are twin virtues in the kingdom. The more faith you have, the more powerful you become. Without faith there is no legal ground for God to empower you to prosper.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV)
Faith is God’s mystery for empowerment. Without faith nothing works in the kingdom especially prosperity. Faith is what guarantees divine performance. In order for you to prosper, you must have faith and believe that there shall be a performance of that which God has promised.
“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord”. (Luke 1:45 KJV)
Faith is believing God’s word, not merely confessing it.Every blessing of God is based on belief factor. God by His power cannot perform what you don’t believe.
The second factor for prosperity is the word factor. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and shaper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul an spirit, and of the joints and narrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”. (Hebrews 4:12 KJV)
Faith brings power and the word of God brings faith!
“For faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God”. (Rom 10:17)
The word of God is powerful! The word in you will always release power to your life. The more you study and internalise God’s word the more of God’s power you will possess. Read the word, study the word, meditate on the word and the word will become flesh to you. By so doing God’s word will nourish and build you up spiritually, physically and materially as revealed in Acts 20:32
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified”.
The word also gives power for prosperity and kingdom wealth. When the word gains entrance into your heart, doubt disappears and the power of God replaces weakness.
Exercise your faith by constantly studying the word and you will be prosperous in all your ways.
